Primary Responsibilities:

  • Reporting templates for the purpose of management reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Responsible for preparing schedules, reconciliations of consolidated accounts. Preparation of Source system to General Ledger and technical balance sheet reconciliations such as Receivable/Payable, Tangible, Intangible Assets, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of SOX and Internal Control Framework.
  • Responsible for developing and oversight of the group’s internal accounting controls and SOX compliance program.
  • Providing assistance to managers for completion of management, regulatory and financial reporting
  • Assist in managing requests from both internal and external auditors and the internal financial controls team to provide requested documentation, general ledger balances, and other ad-hoc requests from auditors.
  • Collaboration within/outside the team (including the accounting team) for the timely cleanup of the open reconciling items.
  • Responsible for internal audit and making recommendations to improve or strengthen internal controls by analysing business data and evaluating information and systems.
  • Miscellaneous reconciliations and preparation of schedules on ad hoc basis.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • CA with relevant years of post-qualification experience in accounting and financial reporting.
  • Effective communication & interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal/external teams across the globe.
  • Effective computer application skills (Microsoft Office, Advance Excel, SAP, SQL, Power BI, Qlikview). Must have an aptitude and interest in the financial system environment.
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience of post qualification experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with SAP ByD would be advantageous.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized, methodical, able to deal effectively with multiple priorities and multitasking.
