The challenge

A large personal care brand wanted insights on the content and performance of its Facebook page. The brand’s goal? To understand whether its content was ‘on brand’ and meeting its social media strategy.

The results

Our research indicated that the brand’s Facebook page attracted and engaged a relevant target audience. It also positively impacted the brand’s image.

The research also showed that the brand could further engage its audience with special offers, promotions and competitions.

How we got there

We surveyed a total of 3,721 respondents to understand their attitudes towards the Facebook page. The online survey was also optimized for mobile – 76% completed the survey on their mobile device. The post containing the survey link was shared and liked repeatedly, generating a positive buzz around the study.

We also obtained respondents’ permission to review their Facebook profiles. This enabled us to collect further data about the audience.
