About the Position:

In the Sourcing Manager position, you will be responsible for the procurement of market research audiences and services through outsourced vendor partnerships, maintaining financial workbooks, meeting budgetary requirements, reconciling invoices, and vetting new suppliers. This position will require working with sales, finance, and internal operations daily.

You could be the perfect candidate for this role if you are:

  • Proficient in various market research methodologies, both online and offline, Quantitative and Qualitative.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled at managing at least 8-10 projects simultaneously.
  • Adept and confident in running stand-alone studies.
  • Have experience working in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Able to process information with elevated levels of accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with all levels of internal management and staff and external vendors.

Position Expectations:

  • Create sample plans based on Client requirements, matching data collection audiences to project scope needs.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best quality, cost, delivery, and payment terms.
  • Continually seek improved sources for materials, supplies, and services, domestically and internationally.
  • Address and resolve quality and pricing issues in a timely fashion to maintain continuity of supply.
  • Independently manage research studies across a variety of methodologies and complexities.
  • Able to manage multiple projects at once in a challenging environment.
  • An initiative-taker with a proven ability to identify problems and determine the appropriate path to resolution.
  • Prepare reports and required documents for management review.
  • Maintain database of supplier contracts, NDAs, and other agreements.

Position Qualifications:

  • Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree, with 2-5 years of relevant. professional experience in market research. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and industry experience will be considered.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize own workload.
