Overview of the role:
To strengthen our team in Germany, we are looking for a Research Manager or Senior Research Manager.
You will support globally renowned clients from across different industries, from research design to delivery of insight – across both tactical and strategic projects. Our research practice supports clients with insights across FMCG, healthcare, automotive, technology, financial services and more. You will report to an Associate Director and work with them to support business growth across all aspects of the research lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and contributing to a wide range of studies – from initial brief to final delivery to client
- Taking responsibility for ensuring the highest quality, accurate reports are sent to clients within the agreed timescales
- Getting to know your client, their markets and helping to manage and develop the accounts
- Analysing and synthesising data to create interpretive, insightful and story-led reports and other outputs to meet the client’s research, commercial and communication objectives
- Conducting professional and authoritative presentations to clients at all levels
- Liaising with a range of internal teams and external partners to ensure effective timely and delivery of projects
- Working with senior team members internally to develop company initiatives, including new products, new analysis techniques, training, and social programmes
- Working with and coaching/ managing junior staff members
- Working closely with the commercial team to grow the accounts – this includes supporting on research proposals and pitches
Required skill set:
- 5+ years’ experience in quantitative market research
- Tracked experience in leading projects within different industry sectors
- Thorough understanding of advanced statistical techniques (e.g. segmentation, conjoint)
- Experience in online and mobile research projects
- Experience in leading multi-country, continuous studies as well as ad hoc
- Strong German skills are (close to) native level (spoken and written)
- Excellent English skills (spoken and written)
- Experience in people management is a plus (especially for senior research managers)
