Social Insights internship – The Netherlands

MetrixLab’s Social Insights team is offering an internship starting as soon as possible, for a period of at least four months or longer.
Join us to get to know the ins and outs of the frontier of market research: online research. Social media, blogs, forums, review sites, you name it – these days an abundance of consumer data is out there ready to be harvested by companies. The Social Insights team works with this data, uncovering insights for clients in highly innovative ways. We help brands track their online reputation, understand the social media responses to their latest influencer campaign, and unlock the potential of the latest online trends. Our clients include major brands such as Heineken, Coca-Cola, Unilever and Philips.
As an intern, you will be supporting the Research Managers, working closely together on a multitude of research projects. Your main responsibility will be data handling for various types of internal and external projects.
- Supporting research projects in all phases, from data collection to reporting
- Data handling, analysis and building graph files to turn social data into actionable insights
- Maintaining overviews of past research results in benchmark files
- Testing newly implemented IT features
What we expect from you:
- You’re a university (WO) student
- You are eager to learn, show initiative and are analytical in nature
- You’re interested in online market research
- You’re a data wizard and Excel holds no secrets from you
- You are proficient in the English language
- You’re a team player, but also work well independently
