About the role:
As Toluna enters its next phase of exciting growth we are looking for a dynamic Account Director to drive this next chapter in our business. The right candidate will join an already successful team with a clear sector focus and work in partnership with an Enterprise Account Director to further develop our existing relationship with some of the world’s biggest CPG brands. These clients already use the full range of services from DIY platform projects through to more complex full-service research programmes giving this candidate exposure to both the digital & research side of the Toluna business.
- Strengthen and grow the existing partnership with a small set of strategic large CPG clients.
- Uncover client challenges that we are able to help them resolve through a value based selling approach.
- Build relationships at management level and day-to-day buyer level.
- Ensure all clients are delighted and can promote internally a positive experience of Toluna.
- Develop relationships that encourage referrals to other departments or divisions.
- Create bids and proposals that resolve identified client needs and articulate the benefits of working with Toluna.
- Conduct quarterly territory reviews to understand and plan for growth.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Account Director to create a personalised account-based approach.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the solutions Toluna offers and Toluna’s systems.
- Relevant experience in market research in either a commercial or research role.
- Advance level of Dutch.
- You are able to uncover opportunities within a business, problem solve and articulate the benefits of the solution to sell ‘value’ driven deals.
- You have the ability to play to strengths and clear benefits when negotiating against our competitors.
- You thrive in a fast turn and consultative sales arena and doing the bidding and full deal cycle yourself with a range of deal sizes and volumes.
- You have excellent attention to detail.
- You are a strong communicator with great questioning, listening and written skills.
- You have a strong work ethic and demonstrate exceptional commercial and customer centric execution.
- You are a positive person with a growth mindset to continuously develop skills and knowledge.
- The candidate needs to be excellent in English (professional in Dutch preferred too).
