(Junior) Research Manager for our qualitative solutions [usability studies, communities, online focus groups]

In our global headquarters based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, we are looking for a (Junior) Research Manager to help support that mission. You will be responsible for the day to day delivery of (inter)national projects from A to Z as part of a research team, with a focus on qualitative studies.
Responsibilities of a Research Manager:
- Designs and delivers both qualitative and quantitative online research studies. The focus will be on qualitative research projects, but depending on planning also quantitative studies will be part of the job.
- Independently manage standardized studies. Manage more complex studies in collaboration with Senior Research Manager.
- Develop questionnaires and discussion guides that meet the objectives of the study.
- Working together with Project Managers for deployment and execution, while maintaining overall management of project timelines.
- Manage online communities
- Manage and conduct usability studies
- Develop analysis and reporting plans.
- Write clear and insightful reports with clear summaries and conclusions & recommendations.
- Continuously learn more complex research methodologies to be able to take on more complex projects and accounts.
- Able to express yourself perfectly in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
- Pro-active and eager to learn.
- Good at making clients happy by delivering excellent service.
- Willing to manage and execute all steps of a research project.
- Passionate about brands and products.
- Creative & fun to work with.
- Able to show initiative and a resourceful problem-solver.
- Flexible and like to work within a dynamic organization.
- A Master degree in e.g., Marketing / Business Administration / Psychology / Economics / Industrial Design, Consumer Sciences.
- 1 – 5 years of experience with qualitative research methods and techniques.
- Experience with SPSS, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent interviewing skills
- Experience with usability studies
- Experience with (leading) workshops
- A can-do attitude.
- Attention to detail, coupled with being able to identify broad, strategic implications.
- Strong communication skills in English and Dutch: oral and written.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach to solving business issues.
- Interest in data, ability to translate those into actionable results and insights for clients.
